Workstream 4:
Collaborative Network

Foster collaborations to drive the development of Climate and Disaster Risk Finance and Insurance solutions through well-established networking and management of information

Introduction

The InsuResilience Global Partnership is an inclusive, multi-stakeholder community that thrives on continuous dialogue and collaboration between its members, particularly the Vulnerable Twenty Group (V20) and G20 countries.

Even beyond its members, the Partnership cultivates far-reaching global collaboration with other initiatives within the overall framework of climate-resilience building. The aim is to link up with other initiatives to increase coherence and comprehensiveness in approaches and also to stimulate convergence and coordination among a range of different actors.

The Partnership Forum is the global flagship event of the Climate and Disaster Risk Finance and Insurance community that brings together members of the Partnership and the wider resilience community to network, exchange knowledge, collaborate, and raise awareness about risk finance and insurance. The Annual Forum in 2019 took place on the margins of the UNFCCC COP25 in Madrid whereas the Annual Forum in 2020 was an online conference over four days with high-level events, interactive sessions for co-creation, regional exchanges based on country case studies and a deep-dive into how InsuResilience impacts lives.
